1. Charles MURRAY, son of Major General James Patrick 2 MURRAY (1782-1834) and Elizabeth RUSHWORTH (1783-1865), was born on 30 December 1814 in Athlone, Ireland. He was a Soldier. He married Anne Mitchell SCOTT on 12 October 1844. He died on 6 April 1848 in West Indies.
He joined the Army and was an ensign in the 76th Regiment of Foot. Later he was promoted Captain in the same regiment. They had no children.
