Robert A. Mcleod, may have served in Custer's Army but we know nothing concrete except that he who was born in Scotland and we believe immigrated to the US through Canada. On his death certificate his father is listed as John Mcleod, born Scotland. (Kim E Winchell). McLeod was "of Cleveland Ohio".
Elizabeth Rushworth MURRAY, daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Douglas Alexander MURRAY (1824-1866) and Mary Ann BELTZHOOVER (1830-aft1880), was born in 1859. She died in 1949. She and Robert Allan MCLEOD had the following children:

A second source claims she died in 1970: it would have been a great achievement then to have so nearly reached her 100th birthday!

8. Jack Earl NEUMAN, son of Benjamin NEUMAN and Catherine Morrison MCLEOD, was born on 5 January 1925. He was a Sgt. in USMC in WW2. He married Ruth Mary UNK in 1945.
