1. James Alastair Frederick Campbell ERSKINE-MURRAY, son of James Robert ERSKINE-MURRAY (1868- ) and Alleine Frederica Florinda GILDEA ( -1941), was born on 23 July 1902. He had the title '13th Lord Elibank'. He died in 1973.
Served in the Highland Light Infantry in Turkey, Egypt and India. Saw service in the Second World War. Succeded to the title in 1962.
