1. John Oliphant MURRAY, son of Lord Alexander MURRAY (1780-1830) and Janet OLIPHANT (1781-1836), was born on 3 July 1808. He was a Courtier. He died on 11 December 1865 in Dresden.

He was Chamberlain to the King of Bavaria and Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Michael of Merit.
