1. Gideon MURRAY (also known as The Master of ELIBANK), son of Rt. Hon. Montolieu Fox OLIPHANT-MURRAY 10th Baron Elibank (1840-1927) and Blanche Alice SCOTT ( - ), was born in 1877. He was a Politician. He had the title '11th Baron Elibank, 2nd Viscount Elibank'. He married Ermine Mary Katherine MADDOCKS on 23 January 1908. He died in 1951.
He was Liberal Chief Whip 1910-1912, and was an early champion of Churchill. The Elibanks were also titular Earls of Westminster in the Jacobite Peerage. He succeeded in his father's titles in 1927 and died in 1951. He was caught up in the Marconi Scandal of 1913. He was known as "The Master of Elibank".
