Hon. Samuel Saltus INGHAM, son of Samuel Saltus INGHAM MCP, JP (1769-1849) and Elizabeth James FRITH (1790-1836), was born in [Julian] 1816 in Kingston, Jamaica. He was a Merchant, Speaker of House of Assembly, Bermuda. He married Margaret Richardson LEAYCRAFT on 27 May 1841 in Southampton, Bermuda (by Rev. R. Hoare). He died on 3 September 1900 in at home, Mangroville, Paget, Bermuda aged 83. He was buried on 4 September 1900 in St. Paul's Church, Paget. He and Mary Howard OLNEY had the following children:
